Yahlive, BBC Arabic extend partnership

UAE-based satellite broadcaster Yahlive has announced the extension of its long-term partnership with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). This venture enables BBC Arabic to reach Arabian Maghreb viewers via Yahlive’s MENA beam – extending its reach to over 42m viewers in North Africa via the prime orbital slot of 52.5 degrees east.

Remarking on the extension of the venture, Ammar Baranbo, COO, Yahlive said: “Since the inception of Yahlive, the Arabian Maghreb has been a key focus for us. We are thrilled to yet again increase our channel offering, giving our Arabian Maghreb viewers even greater choice of quality content and channels. This partnership is in line with our strategy to bring relevant, most watched content to each of the culturally diverse communities under our coverage”.

As a prominent satellite broadcast provider in the region, Yahlive has been key in extending the reach of global brands to communities across the Middle East, North Africa and South West Asia. Yahlive claims it has reached niche audiences with a viewership of over 115m across all its coverage areas.
