Witbe portal

Witbe will showcase solutions to control video quality on multiple devices: mobile, computer and TV. The company will highlight the monitoring, testing and validation of services on mobile video services, with a solution to monitor both Apple and Android devices, as well as the main set-top-boxes in the market.

Commenting on industry trends, Jean-Michel Planche, co-founder and Senior Vice President Strategy, said: “Streaming and distributing video through OTT is currently revolutionising the audiovisual industry. There is about $80 million at stake by 2020. Interactive services will outline new customs and new interfaces. For the players already in place, it is now more important than ever to deliver the best user experience, to match at least the one from the big ones (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple). These past 24 months, we have seen how OTT has become unavoidable and how the market share gains are being outlined. In another 24 months, the winners will be established and will have retained an audience never reached before by traditional media.”

“We have been working with major telecom players in the MENA region for many years now, and quality of experience has always been extremely important for us. We are currently looking for the best distributors to provide the local support our customers are rightfully expecting.”
