Content and revenue protection specialist, Friend MTS, has appointed Justin Paul to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer. Paul, who has more than 20 years’ experience in technology marketing, will lead the company’s marketing functions, including strategy, brand development, and marketing communications.
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Williamson, Chief Commercial Officer at Friend MTS, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Justin on board at Friend MTS. To attract a candidate of his proven calibre is testament to our industry leading people, services and customers, and our strong market position. We are in a period of unprecedented demand for our services, and I look forward to welcoming Justin to the commercial team to lead our marketing efforts and engage with our customers.”
Justin Paul, Chief Marketing Officer at Friend MTS, said: “Friend MTS has an A-list client base, and it delivers enormous value to its customers and their shareholders by protecting premium content and revenues. Content theft is the scourge of the media industry. A common misconception is that content theft is a “victimless crime” but it affects us all financially. I’m thrilled to join a company that’s transforming the piracy landscape for content providers and protecting the industry from illegal streaming.”
The company’s service portfolio includes automated, global channel monitoring using fingerprint-based content recognition, and this integrates with subscriber-level watermarking.
