Avid has announced that Hal Leonard will distribute Pro Tools digital audio software and Sibelius music notation software to individual creatives, aspiring professionals and educational establishments through authorised resellers in EMEA territories. The addition of Avid’s pro audio solutions to its EMEA catalogue ensures Hal Leonard can meet growing demand for professional audio software with industry-leading creative tools, the release stated.
Commenting on the initiative, Tom Venvell, Sales Director for Hal Leonard in Europe, said:“We chose to expand our European offerings with Avid as their solutions are the industry-standard creative tools used by artists, producers, mixers, composers and orchestrators all over the world. Avid offers creative tools for people at any stage in their careers—from those just starting out to award-winning pros—and licensing options to suit any budget. The success of Avid’s creative tools motivates our business growth as we expand into new territories. It was a logical choice for us to expand our long-standing relationship with the company.”
As an Avid Strategic Global Partner, Hal Leonard already distributes Avid software and hardware solutions in North America and Australia, as well as supporting online initiatives with digital and physical content, back-end licensing, and marketing.
Elaborating on the distributorship, Tom Cordiner, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Avid, said: “Hal Leonard’s expertise in Avid solutions, combined with its extensive dealer network, will help the creative communities in EMEA to do their best possible work, and take advantage of our creative ecosystem to help advance their careers.”
