Shock Middle East launches new radio station for UAE listeners

Shock Middle East, which launched Dance 97.8 in January last year, is back with another new launch – Heart 107.1 – a radio station that promises daily back-to-back hits from the 90s to today.

The new station will feature four live daily shows (breakfast, morning, afternoon and drive time slots) from Sunday to Thursday.

Heart 107.1 has a mix of high-profile and established radio presenters including Dave Cleary, who has made the move over from Dance FM — and Fadi Mansour.

“Heart 107.1 has been a long time coming — and we know it’s just what the UAE needs. Get ready to listen to some excellent music, the best of the best radio presenters — and a radio station which will always make you feel good,” Theo Makris, Co-Founder and MD of Shock Middle East stated.

Raed Zidan, Co-Owner of Shock Middle East added: “We know there has been a huge gap in the market for this kind of radio station — and with such high radio listenership in the UAE, it was a no-brainer for us to bring Heart 107.1 to the market.

“Radio is at the heart of people’s lives here in the UAE — whether that’s listening in the car on the way to work or tuning in on the school run. It’s just so important there’s a station people want to tune into — and with Heart 107.1, you’ll never want to listen to anything else!”
