The new partnership aims to add to the momentum of the channel’s expansion across EMEA.
Blippi & Friends is now available via Jawwy TV and stc tv in MENA.
The 24/7 channel includes content from across Moonbug’s portfolio, dubbed into Turkish.
The partnership already runs in Germany and Turkey, and will launch in the UK, Ireland, and Iberia throughout the rest of this year.
Zahid will be responsible for leading strategy on Moonbug’s long-term growth in the region with an aim to build out global franchises.
Moonbug Entertainment will soon release two new Arabic-dubbed titles across Spacetoon channels for kids and families.
The additional shows are intended to provide a wider variety of entertainment and educational hybrid TV programmes for families.
The partnership with OSN is in line with Moonbug’s global expansion plans.
The deal will see roughly 270 episodes of Moonbug’s popular series stream on e-Junior.
Families in MENA will be able to access shows via Spacetoon’s TV channel and its online streaming service ‘Spacetoon Go’.
