Selevision will showcase its service on its newly launched Android hybrid set-top box – DVBS2 /IP at CABSAT.
Commenting on the launch of the platform, Dr. Read Khusheim, CEO of Selevision said: We are pleased to announce that our complete range of digital entertainment services is now live. We would like to invite everyone to come and experience Selevisions digital media innovation and get thousands of entertainment options at their fingertips using our new Smart Receiver – Android Hybrid Set-top box.
The STB aims to offer the customer complete control of their entertainment choices and interests allowing them to watch what they like and when they like from linear TV coming from satellite. Customers could also catchup on their favourite programmes with the restart TV function and C-me service for more than 400 channels to recently released movies through our On-Demand service, in addition to their favorite TV Shows on the Android platform.
Selevision also offers a Video Games option. The iControl will allow the users to pause, rewind and fast-forward and even record their favourite live TV shows.
