Apart from products and services, Vitec will present experts to discuss new broadcast technology innovations available from Autoscript and Vinten.
Vitec Production Solutions will display the latest innovations in solutions for the broadcast and film industry at CABSAT.
Highlights in the range of premium branded products and services on offer include Litepanels’ new Gemini 1×1 Hard RGBWW LED panel; ‘aktiv’ the new fluid head built for speed from Sachtler; the advanced LED linear tube Rainbow lights by Quasar Science. Production solutions experts will discuss the new broadcast technology innovations available from Autoscript and Vinten.
Quasar Science will showcase the new Rainbow2 (R2) and Double Rainbow (RR) Linear LED Lights. Both lights continue Quasar’s commitment to colour integrity while introducing multiple advances in flexibility and network control making them ideal for any production level. The more space-efficient R2 offers a single row of bright RGBX light. Both lights house a full suite of wired and wireless connection protocols like DMX, CRMX, Bluetooth, WiFi, sACN, and ArtNet, as well as manual UI.
Litepanels will showcase the latest addition to its Gemini RGBWW LED panel range. Litepanels’ Gemini 1×1 Hard RGBWW LED Panel delivers a bright output of over 3000 lux @10ft/3m to produce the brightest 1×1 panel. Like other LED panels in the Gemini range, Gemini 1×1 Hard produces full-spectrum white light as well as full RGB output and a range of creative cinematic effects. Its remarkably compact and lightweight form weighs just 13.2 lbs (6kg), including yoke and power supply, and has a maximum draw of just 200W yet Gemini 1×1 Hard produces an impressive output 20% brighter than a 200W HMI. The power of Gemini Hard, expands the creative potential of a 1×1 panel.
From the design team that created flowtech, Sachtler will be presenting the new aktiv fluid head. SpeedLevel and SpeedSwap technologies allow camera operators to mount, level and lock the head in seconds and to switch quickly from tripod, slider or hand-held shots in an instant to capture the widest range of shots in the shortest time. Available in four models, aktiv is the latest addition to the Sachtler camera support range. aktiv6 and aktiv8 are compatible with all main Sachtler 75mm tripods – with aktiv8 available in ‘side load’ or ‘touch and go’ camera plate options – while aktiv10 is a 100mm bowl head with side load camera plate. aktiv supports payloads from 0kg up to 12kg (8kg for aktiv6) making it the ideal system for fast-paced electronic newsgathering (ENG), and a wide range of wildlife, commercial, and documentary productions.
Visitors to CABSAT can speak to robotics and prompting experts from Vitec Production Solutions about the latest developments from Vinten and Autoscript. The new Vinten FHR-155E weatherproof Heavy-Duty Robotic Pan & Tilt Head combines sophisticated software and mechanical engineering to enable exceptionally accurate, smooth, and quiet camera movements in challenging open-air environments and is already in use in large outdoor venues on the Arabian Peninsula. WinPlus-IP Intelligent Prompting, the industry-leading, entirely IP-enabled, end-to-end broadcast teleprompting software from Autoscript has been updated to include full diacritic support for improved delivery in the Arabic language. WinPlus-IP options now include ‘Autoscript Voice’, a new advanced speech recognition technology designed to free presenters and production staff from their scroll control devices.
