With these new partnerships, 1001 reinforces its commitment to delivering legal, premium content to Iraqi audiences, reducing the reliance on illegal streaming platforms.
Iraqi streaming platform 1001 has extended its reach across north and south of Iraq by entering into partnerships with internet service providers (ISPs) FiberX and NBTEL. The partnerships mark a new milestone in 1001’s mission to combat piracy and revolutionise digital entertainment in the country.
Building on 1001’s strategic partnership with Supercell, one of Iraq’s leading ISPs, the new partnerships will further facilitate the ability of ISPs to embrace legal streaming over the promulgation of illegal alternatives. By collaborating with these prominent ISPs, 1001 aims to set a new standard in ethical content consumption, offering high-quality entertainment whilst supporting intellectual property rights.
This expansion builds on the success of 1001’s earlier partnerships with leading fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) providers and marks the continued growth of a consortium of ISPs working together to legally deliver 1001’s premium content to millions of Iraqi households.
Commenting on the new collaborations, Mohsen Khairaldin, CEO of 1001, said: “Our new partnerships with major ISPs in both the north and south of Iraq represents a major step forward in our vision to connect all of Iraq with the best in premium, legal, digital entertainment. This milestone reflects our unwavering dedication to combatting piracy whilst delivering innovation and accessible streaming solutions that enhance the viewing experience for our Iraqi audiences.”
“Our partnership with 1001 empowers southern Iraq with innovative streaming solutions, promoting ethical content consumption and elevating the digital experience,” said Saif Abbas, CEO of FiberX. NBTEL Chairman, Mustafa Alkazzaz, added: “This collaboration marks a significant step for NBTEL in enhancing digital connectivity and bringing northern Iraq access to world-class legal entertainment.”
