Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC) made several staff across all departments redundant last week. The move was part of the companys efforts to streamline and improve our operations, according to an internal memo that was issued by ADMCs chairman Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.
The Board and [I] have mandated the Senior Management team to continue to develop the company as a commercial business, he stated further in his mail, adding that these changes were essential to our goal of improving our performance, and building a culture of excellence and innovation.
These changes are not easy and we did not take this decision lightly. We regret the impact these business changes will have on a number of individuals, and do thank those colleagues affected for their hard work and contributions to the company, he stated.
