All programmes will be available for online viewing through the ADtv streaming platform, and specific air times will be revealed closer to the beginning of Ramadan, which is anticipated to start on March 11 or 12.
Abu Dhabi Media Network has revealed its highly anticipated content lineup for the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan, during a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed celebrities and popular drama stars who will be featured in the productions slated for the holy month on Abu Dhabi TV, Al Emarat TV, Baynounah TV, and the ADtv app.
The Ramadan content lineup boasts a rich variety of 11 Emirati, Khaliji, and Arab drama productions spanning social, historical, heritage, and Bedouin genres. Additionally, viewers can expect seven exclusive series and four entertainment, humanitarian, and cultural programmes.
Speaking about the lineup, Rashid Al Qubaisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Media Network, said: “Our new Ramadan content lineup reflects the cultural diversity of our audience, taking into account the preferences and interests of viewers of all ages. Our programmes include TV series that depict the social reality and contemporary challenges, in addition to programmes and talk shows that host speakers across multiple fields, and educational and entertainment programmes for children, as well as documentaries.”
Al Qubaisi added: “Today, we announced the launch of Salem, the first virtual broadcaster on our network, who will join our team and be presented to our viewers in the near future. Al Qubaisi expressed his pride in the outstanding level of diversity and quality in the Ramadan content lineup, noting that this season reaffirms Abu Dhabi Media Network’s commitment to highlighting the role of the media in raising awareness on important topics and promoting noble values through various types of content.
Under the slogan “Hal hlalak Abu Dhabi darak,” Abu Dhabi TV and the ADtv app will feature exclusive drama series showcasing prominent Khaliji and Arab stars. Notable productions include Al Boum and Khattaf, both major Emirati productions, along with the Egyptian series Jouder – Arabian Nights and Raheel.
Other highlights include “Haq Arab” and “Bel Qanoun,” promising gripping narratives and stellar performances. The second season of the acclaimed Syrian series Kasr Adhem: Al Saradeeb and Wasaya Al Sabbar will be exclusively available on Abu Dhabi TV and the ADtv app.
Al Emarat TV’s lineup, themed “Ramadan yana wel kheir lafana,” features series like Al Juzou’ah and Qadaya Men Al Badiya, offering diverse narratives rooted in Khaliji heritage and Bedouin culture. Additionally, the social series Ba’ad Ghiyabak Anni will explore the human psyche and social relations.
Abu Dhabi TV, Al Emarat TV, and the ADtv app will present purposeful content including Qalbi Etma’an, focusing on humanitarian values, and the fourth season of Al Mugharred, hosted by Amer Jassas.
Viewers can also anticipate returning favourites such as Al Shara and Yadouh Kitchen, providing engaging entertainment and culinary delights.
