Cinema enthusiasts can look forward to watching the Emirati film Nearby Sky, based on the story of a female camel owner.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will be hosting the Korean Film Festival 2019 at Yas Mall Vox Cinemas, Abu Dhabi from the 26th to 29th June 2019.
Each of the nine films that will be screened will be shown with subtitles in English. Tickets come for AED 21 (including VAT).
The film fest opens with Innocent Witness, the tale of a potential murder and a teenage witness with autism.
Actor Lee Kyu-Hyung, who plays a prosecutor in the movie, will meet fans before the screening on 26th June and hold a free Q&A session afterwards with the films producer Lee Jun-woo. The event starts at 6 pm.
Also on the big screen are historical dramas such as The Great Battle (12+), childrens animation Underdog (PG) and love story Romang (PG), about an elderly couple with dementia.
