Advanced Media and DJI recently hosted a professional aerial photography workshop in Dubai.
The workshop was held in collaboration with the SANAD Academy, the UAEs first RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) training and certification specialists endorsed by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Attended by more than 100 photography enthusiasts, industry professionals and professional filmmakers, the workshop gave a comprehensive overview of the recently launched Inspire 2, the latest offering from DJI targeted at filmmakers.
Filmmakers are utilising drones more and more, so its important that we offer a hands-on demonstration on the subject. We also see a number of factors, including regulatory changes, technology advancements and filmmaking nuances, are converging to drive rapid, unprecedented growth in the unmanned aerial vehicle industry. At the Workshop, we gathered product specialists, representatives from SANAD and award winning filmmakers, who shared real-world experiences and professional insights to creating inspiring and unique content, said Pejman Ghorbani, Senior Product Manager, Advanced Media.
Award-winning Director, Producer and Cinematographer, Kirill Kripak also shared his experiences of storytelling using drones, most specifically DJIs Inspire 2. Speaking at the workshop, Kripak said:
The range of movement a drone can get is unmatched by any other camera movement device that exists and these devices can also reach and go into places people cant get to. The videos shot on drones certainly have a signature look and feel something no other imaging device can achieve.
