The event featured interactive networking events, seminars, and training courses conducted by the experts of the industry including Sennheiser, ZEISS and others.
Advanced Media, in collaboration with IN5 Media, conducted a two-day open house event Cine In, showcasing the latest in digital cinematography and professional video products at Dubai Production City on February 26 and 27.
The event, which was designed for the community of cinematographers and filmmakers in the region, saw interactive networking events, seminars, and training courses conducted by the industry experts. Featuring their products, many leading market players were present including Sennheiser, ZEISS, RED, and Astera.
At the event, Sennheiser’s Ryan Burr explained the importance of good-quality audio in a world of HD video content and revealed some new products in the pipeline. He talked about the methods of audio capturing for films we well as 3D-audio recording.
ZEISS Product Manager Christophe Casenave told BroadcastPro ME: “We are here to present our different lens lines for cinematography, going from the Supreme Prime 3 which are very compact and lightweight, to Supreme Primes including Radiance lens. These are big, high-speed lenses. Our technology helps the VFX people with visual effects as well.”
Jesper Sorensen, who was there representing Astera LED, explained: “We are presenting wireless LED lights, running on battery and controllable from an app, which is basically the concept of the product. The app can control the lights from up to a range of 300 metres.”
Speaking about the event, Advanced Media MD, Alaa Al Rantisi told BroadcastPro ME: “We hold such events as Cine In to introduce different products and ideas related to cinema production, new technologies to the cinema community in the region. This helps professionals in the field to understand how to use the right lighting, audio and colours, basically all end-to-end solutions related to cinema production in general.”
