Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem is set to join forces once again with actress Hannah El Zahed in the upcoming TV series Ekama Gabreya (House Arrest).
Directed by Egyptian filmmaker Ahmed Samir Farag, the mini-series will see Ahmed Hatem in a guest star role as Hannah’s on-screen husband.
Ekama Gabreya unfolds over 10 episodes and boasts an ensemble cast of Egyptian stars, including Sabreen, Mohamed Sharnouby, Mahmoud Al-Bazawi, and Aida Riyad, among others. The series is scripted by Ahmed Adel, directed by Ahmed Samir Farag, and produced by Sabbah Pictures.
The series will soon be available for viewers on the Arabic streaming platform Shahid.
This collaboration marks the fifth on-screen partnership between Ahmed Hatem and Hannah El Zahed, following their successful ventures in Ana W Heya (2022), Helwa El Donia Sokar (2021), Al-Ghasala (2020), and Qeset Hob (2019).
Notably, the duo was also busy in October 2023 filming the sequel to their hit romance film, Love Story (2019), which is set for release in February 2024.
