Al Jazeeras digital news platform AJ+ has received more than one billion online video views, a year after its inception in September 2014. The social TV platform provides perspective on current events and prompts engagement with custom content for online networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram in addition to the AJ+ mobile app.
It is a great achievement to reach such a milestone in such a short span of time since the launch, said Dima Khatib, the Managing Director at AJ+.
