25 countries are participating in the annual film fest.
The annual Alexandria Mediterranean Countries Film Festival began on October 1, 2023 in Alexandria, Egypt. The fest aims to spread awareness about the cinematic culture, learn about the progress made in the various branches of cinema, and establish relations between filmmakers around the world in general, and between the Mediterranean filmmakers in particular.
Films participating in the competition are totally or partly produced by a Mediterranean country and are being screened for the first time in Egypt.
