Music streaming platform Anghami and Saudi Music Commission have teamed up to launch the Moja programme to support emerging talents to new heights in the world of music.
Under the slogan #هذا_وقتك “This is Your Time”, the initiative aims to activate the music community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and elevate local skills to the global music scene.
Moja programme provides aspiring music graduates and artists with the essential skills to launch their musical careers through a series of carefully selected workshops delivered by elite trainers and industry experts. The programme aims to have 100 exceptionally talented graduates, fully eligible to excel in various aspects of singing and music.
Speaking about the programme, Paul Pacifico, CEO of Saudi Music Commission, said: “Moja is an initiative that redefines the Saudi music scene globally. Through this programme, we not only promote the growth of new musical talents, but also enable them to display their unique art to the world. The programme will firmly position Saudi Arabia at the forefront as a hub for musical innovation and creative experimentation.”
Participants will embark on a full journey, exploring the art of songwriting, composing, producing, arranging, and mixing. Under the supervision of experienced producers, sound engineers, singers, and composers, these workshops will cultivate technical expertise and refine artistic skills.

The programme will provide intensive education, enabling participants to produce five exceptional songs of various music genres. Graduating 100 candidates who are fully prepared to embark on their music careers is a testament to the programme’s effectiveness.”
The deadline to submit the application is until August 30, 2023. Applicants need to be residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a minimum age of 16.
Workshops will be held in Riyadh from August 27 to September 28, with graduation taking place on October 7.
