Eligible producers from the Arab world can send their submissions for the five-day training workshop till November 10.
The Arab Cinema Center (ACC) has announced an open call for submissions by Arab producers at the annual Rotterdam Lab, which will take place virtually on the margins of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (January 27 – February 7). The deadline for submission is November 10.
Eligible producers from the Arab world must have one or two shorts least, or two feature films at the most under their repertoire.
This marks the fifth year in a row for the partnership between the Arab Cinema Center and Rotterdam Lab for an open call for submissions. Through the past years, the ACC sent several Arab producers to the Lab, including Rami Alyan (Palestine), Aya Al Balushi (Lebanon), Amir El-Shenawy (Egypt), Khadija Kudsi (KSA & Syria), to name a few.
Organised by CineMart within the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Rotterdam Lab is a five-day training workshop for emerging producers from all over the world. The Rotterdam Lab offers a place to over 69 producers from over 31 countries.
The aim is to provide emerging professionals with the means to build and develop an international network with providing confidence and skills to navigate the world of international film financing, sales and distribution.
