The partnership will see the addition of Zee Alwan on Arabsat’s Badr-6 satellite and is a key part of the channel’s expansion within the MENA region.
A new partnership between Arabsat and Zee Entertainment sees the launch of Zee Alwan, its Indian Arab cable satellite TV channel, on the operator’s Badr-6 satellite.
Arabsat’s CEO, Al-Hamedi Al-Anezi, expressed gratitude for broadcasting Zee Alwan on Arabsat satellites.
Manoj Mathew, Executive Vice President and Territory Head – MENAPT & Americas at Zee Network, commented: “Our partnership with Arabsat to launch Zee Alwan on satellite Badr-6 is a key part of the expansion/growth plan of the channel in MENA, amid continuous demand from fans who fancy the type of content Zee Alwan offers to Arab viewers. The channel’s popularity among both viewers and advertisers has prompted us to take this decision in cooperation with Arabsat specifically, to help us successfully achieve our goals. The new partnership is expected to increase the channel’s reach and consequently its viewership in the Gulf countries generally, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, strengthening the channel’s position as one of the most popular and highly watched channels in the Middle East and North Africa.”
Viewers will be able to watch Zee Alwan on the following frequency: 11862MHz; Polarity: V; Symbol Rate: 27500; and FEC 3/4.
