Argosy has been awarded the contract to become the master distributor in the Middle East for Hamlet, a leading provider of television broadcast test, measurement and monitoring devices, for digital, analogue, high and standard definition systems. With the agreement signed earlier this month, Hamlets products will be on display for the first time on the Argosy stand at CABSAT alongside a collection of Argosys existing infrastructure products.
The appointment of Argosy as our Master Distributor will allow us to better drive our sales channels and ultimately grow our broadcast test and measurement business in the Middle East, said Steve Nunney, managing director of Hamlet. With its wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from many years of operating in this region and its recently opened showroom in Bur Dubai, Argosy is able to easily showcase our test and measurement devices to customers and have stock ready and available to meet quick delivery times. We are excited about the opportunities presented to us by working more closely with Argosy.
Showcasing on the Argosy stand at CABSAT 2011 will be a range of both rack-mounted and handheld multi-format test and measurement devices including the companys MicroFlex monitor the worlds smallest handheld multi-format, multi-standard handheld waveform, vector, audio and picture monitor now with 3G HD and SD EYE module options.
Additionally, CABSAT visitors will see demonstrations of the MonitorScope MS9000, a compact, low power On Screen Display device with built-in XVGA display ideal for production and engineering environments.
