Turkish media company ATV Distribution has partnered with Canela Media to bring popular Turkish TV series to audiences in the US and Latin America. As part of this agreement, four titles will be available for free streaming on the Canela.TV app. The lineup includes Safir for US viewers and The Father, Stolen Life, and Foster Mother for audiences in both the US and Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
Muge Akar, ATV’s Head of Global Sales, said that ATV’s Turkish dramas continue to captivate audiences in these regions. Akar highlighted the availability of these series for free on Canela.TV would allow even more fans to enjoy their compelling narratives.
In addition to this new partnership, ATV recently announced the sale of Safir in Romania, where Antena TV acquired the title soon after its presentation at Mipcom in October. This success follows ATV’s strategic efforts to expand its international footprint.
Further cementing its global reach, ATV recently entered into an agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery in Italy. This marks ATV’s first deal in the Italian market, with Hercai set to be the pioneer content under this collaboration. The partnership signifies ATV’s ongoing commitment to bringing high-quality Turkish dramas to new audiences around the world.
