Autoscript has announced the appointment of Simon Clark to the newly created role of head of sales and support for EMEA. Autoscript is expanding its EMEA sales team due to increased demand in the region, particularly with the introduction of new products such as the EPIC all-in-one prompter display and on-air talent monitor, launched at NAB 2012.
Clark joins Autoscript following a long career at Cintel, which he initially joined as an apprentice and worked his way up through the technical and sales operations, gaining a thorough knowledge of production technology and the wider broadcast industry. His most recently held role was Business Development Manager, where he expanded sales both directly and via the development of a global reseller network.
