Autoscript CABSAT 2011
Autoscript will celebrate a record year of Middle East sales, while presenting a variety of high performance solutions at CABSAT, including its high brightness LED TFT flat screens, and portable prompting devices Xbox Ultra and X-Lite. All of the solutions on display have been developed and manufactured in-house, and support all Arabic languages.
Brian Larter, managing director of Autoscript said, Autoscript achieved record sales in the Middle East in 2010, supplying our award-winning prompting solutions to leading broadcasters such as Al Jazeera, MBC, CNBC and BBC Arabic. These sales helped us to achieve overall growth of 20% on the previous year, within expanded sales and support staff. CABSAT MENA continues to be a must-attend show for Autoscript as it gives us the opportunity to have productive meetings with new and existing clients from this region.
Products on display at CABSAT MENA include Autoscripts LED TFT flat screens. The screens utilise advances in LED technology to provide display longevity, high performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
The Xbox Ultra is an external box device that connects via USB port to a laptop or PC and provides enhanced features and capabilities which make it particularly useful for portable prompting. It features four video outputs and a smooth on-screen scroll on the computer screen that eliminates the need for an external preview monitor. The video output is standard composite PAL or NTSC and is compatible with all Autoscript on-camera units.
The X-Lite is an entry level prompting tool which incorporates one output, and is suitable for simple pieces to camera and for educational purposes.
