Tehran-based AV distributor, Cimatech, displayed products of Scandinavian conference specialist, Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS), at the Elecomp Show in Tehran. The 17th International Electronics, Computer and E-Commerce (Elecomp) Fair held at the Tehran International Fairground, from 9-13 December, featured more than 600 Iranian and international companies. The participating countries included China, Indonesia, France, Norway, Japan, South Korea, Netherland, Britain, Italy, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, India and Russia.
Cimatech focused on displaying portable as well as flush-mount units of the fully digital DCS 6000 system. Highlights at the booth was the GM 6620 Shotgun Microphone on FC 6020 and FD 6120 Conference Units and the Farsi Language Font available for DC 6990P Touch Screen Units. Amir Kord, managing director of Cimatech said: ” We appreciate the support of DIS area sales manager, Chris Hellmuth, who came personally to assist the exclusive distributor on site.”
Iran’s Elecomp is one of the biggest trade fairs for the IT, networking and computer industries in Iran. The expo features the latest products in computer components, copying machines, digital cameras, digital media storage devices, graphic workstations, info-security, modems,
on and offline games, personal computers, personal data storage, printers, scanners, smart cards, Wi-Fi technology, broadcasting equipment, broadband networks, internet providers, mobile phone accessories, office communication devices, satellite services, teleconference equipment, wireless data communication are showcased in the fair.
According to Pyramid Research, Iran’s IT industry is expected to grow to 12.9 billion dollars in 2014.
