InfoComm International is bringing its Future Trends Summit back to the Amsterdam show in 2012, with an all-new programme of sessions designed to educate, to inspire, and to inform the debate about the future of the professional AV and electronic systems business.
As in 2011, the summit will be co-located with Integrated Systems Europe and take place the day before the show, with a relaxed starting time of 11:00 allowing delegates to fly into Amsterdam on the morning of the event. Scott Wills, InfoComms director of International Education and Member Services, sees the summit as the perfect way for the association to engage ISE attendees in a range of conversations about what shape the pro-AV industry will take in the years ahead.
Predicting the future is never easy, but our array of experienced, knowledgeable and thought-provoking speakers will ensure that delegates come away from the Future Trends Summit with valuable new insights for their businesses, says Wills.
Among the topics to be presented are emerging technologies in high-resolution displays, the future of audio networking, the growing role of standards in the systems integration industry, and the relationship between pro-AV and Cloud computing.
The summit will end at 17:30, with all delegates then cordially invited to ISEs inaugural keynote address to be delivered by Gerhard Schulz of Ingram Micro followed by an opening reception jointly hosted by InfoComm and CEDIA.
It all adds up to the best curtain-raiser for ISE we have ever staged, enthuses Wills. We expect a day of informed presentations, lively debate, and unrivalled networking opportunities.
InfoComms Future Trends Summit will take place on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Amsterdam RAI.
