offering a Final Cut Pro crossgrade promotion for qualified Final Cut Pro customers.
The offer aims to encourage Final Cut Pro users to use Media Composer, Avids professional editing solution and is available till September 30 this year.
Media Composer software is designed for Mac OS and Windows operating systems. Its features include native support for various formats, multicam support, media and project sharing as well as integration with third party systems.
Speaking about the offer, Paul Foeckler, vice president, creative professionals products and solutions for Avid said : We are pleased to provide existing Final Cut Pro users with the opportunity to obtain Media Composer and augment and complement their existing workflows.
Recent enhancements to Media Composer include support for third-party video interfaces from AJA and Matrox, expanded native format support with AMA, as well as Avid PhraseFind powered by Nexidia and ScriptSync products features that help with faster editing.
