IMPCO, the producers behind Shark Tank Egypt, aim to use the show as a platform for Egyptian culinary entrepreneurs to bring their wildest food concepts to life. In a format similar to Shark Tank Egypt, each episode of the show will allow three aspiring chefs to present their culinary concepts live in a pop-up restaurant. For 48 hours, real-life customers and the show’s board of investors can experience the restaurant.
Restaurant management and fintech solutions provider, Foodics is collaborating with IMPCO as the official technology partner for Million Pound Menu. Through this sponsorship, Foodics seeks to empower participating entrepreneurs with advanced technological solutions to manage their businesses efficiently. This includes access to its restaurant and order management solutions (RMS), inventory control, and sales tracking, helping them improve order accuracy and minimise errors during the investor trials.
The investors on Million Pound Menu are some of the most renowned figures from Cairo’s F&B industry, such as The Lemon Tree & Co.’s Mirette Aly, Baky Hospitality’s Ayman Baky, Mo Bistro’s Mohamed Abdelhak, Eatery’s Omar Fathy, Buffalo Burger’s Loay Torky, and The Bakery Shop’s Sameh El Sadat. Also serving as the show’s board of judges, they will decide whose ideas get funding.

Comprising of 11 episodes, Million Pound Menu will tackle various themes and cuisines, each dominating a single episode. The chefs will be asked to put on their creative hats and present their most innovative, and skillfully crafted culinary concepts.
