BBC Studios has named Kasia Jablonska as the Director of Digital and on-demand for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. In this newly appointed role, Kasia will spearhead the formulation, implementation, and enhancement of strategic plans focused on expanding digital revenue channels, introducing innovative digital products, and optimising audience engagement across various digital platforms in the EMEA region.
Bringing more than two decades of experience in content monetisation, commercial endeavours, and editorial strategies, Jablonska has a robust professional background with notable contributions to renowned media entities such as Fox, NBC Universal, A+E Networks, Scripps/Discovery, and Endemol Shine Group. Since joining BBC Studios in December 2021, she has been instrumental in the editorial product development for affiliate Players and has played a pivotal role in the growth initiatives for FAST channels in EMEA.
Under Jablonska’s leadership, BBC Studios successfully launched BBC Player in Poland and BBC Nordic+. Her efforts have expanded BBC Studios’ FAST portfolio in EMEA to include six-channel brands in 42 countries. Notable additions include the recent launch of the Top Gear FAST channel with Samsung TV Plus in Benelux and Pluto TV in German Speaking Territories, France, Italy, and the Nordics. The FAST channel lineup now encompasses Doctor Who in Spain, Italy, France, and Germany, BBC Drama in Spain, Italy, and France, as well as BBC Food, BBC Travel, and BBC History in Germany.
Jablonska’s elevated role is seen as instrumental in supporting editorial and commercial teams across EMEA. She will focus on creating and launching new digital products, maximising opportunities to boost digital revenues, fostering innovation, providing expertise to teams, and expanding digital audiences.

Kasia will report to Arran Tindall, Chief Commercial Officer, EVP – EMEA Key Markets, and Tim Christlieb, SVP, GM Branded Services – EMEA Key Markets.
