beIN has confirmed that it had taken its channels off the du platform after its failed to reach an agreement with the UAE-based telco operator. rn
beIN MEDIA GROUP has issued a statement saying that “after lengthy negotiations, it has not been able to reach to this day an agreement to continue its services over DUs network”.
In light of this, beIN has announced that it has ceased its service on the network as of June 2, 2018.
“The contract between the parties had expired on May 31st, 2018. The GROUP has further acted in good faith by granting the network an extension of 24 hours to conclude the renewal process and sustain the service to no avail.”
The Qatar-based network went on to add that it “denounces the wrongful facts contained in DUs statement, our viewers can continue to enjoy our services over satellite, and live streaming (beIN CONNECT).
