The channel layout enhancements aim to provide a more immersive and accessible sports viewing experience for subscribers.
BeIN Sports has revamped the layout of its linear channels, offering improved content discovery and accessibility.
The redesigned channel lineup retains BeIN’s Arabic language free-to-air channels, beIN Sports NEWS, and beIN Sports, in the first and second positions, ensuring that households across the MENA region can easily access premium live sports coverage and in-depth sports news and analysis from around the world. Additionally, several other channel positions have been rearranged to simplify navigation for subscribers seeking specific sports programmes, matches, and tournament coverage.
One of the significant changes includes dedicating beIN Sports 1 to broadcasting premium live matches from competitions like the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, and La Liga, all in succession. This coverage will be complemented by Arabic studio analysis featuring prominent figures in Arabic and international football. Furthermore, BeIN is introducing dedicated channels for major global competitions, such as the English Premier League on beIN Sports 2, La Liga on beIN Sports 3, and Ligue 1 and Bundesliga on beIN Sports 4 and beIN Sports 5, respectively. BeIN is also set to introduce a new sports channel, beIN Sports XTRA 3, to make even more premium live events available to its subscribers.
Fans of African and other continental football competitions will now find their content on beIN Sports 6, while the AFC will maintain its four dedicated beIN Sports AFC channels, numbered 30 to 33.
In line with this new layout, various other sports will receive dedicated channel slots. Tennis enthusiasts can catch the action on beIN Sports 7, while coverage of the Olympic Games and related events will be available on beIN Sports 9. Basketball enthusiasts in the region can tune in to beIN Sports NBA, hosted on Channel 20 with English-language commentary. Meanwhile, the beIN 4K channel will continue to deliver premium events in ultra-high definition on Channel 14.
Channel 21 is designated for beIN Sports 1 English, offering the most highly anticipated football matches from around the world with English-language commentary and extensive studio coverage.
For BeIN’s French-speaking audience, both beIN Sports 1 and 2 French will now be found on Channels 24 and 25, delivering comprehensive coverage of top sporting action with French commentary.
