Although beIN Sports is the incumbent exclusive broadcaster of the Premier League in MENA, the new deal extends beIN Sports' exclusive rights to Premier League football in MENA until 2022.
beIN Sports will broadcast exclusively all Premier League football matches in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for the three seasons 2019/20 2021/22 according to a new deal inked between the football entity and the broadcast network.
Although beIN Sports is the incumbent exclusive broadcaster of the Premier League in MENA, the new deal signed in London yesterday by Richard Scudamore, Executive Chairman of the Premier League, and Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Chairman and CEO of beIN Media Group – extends beIN Sports’ exclusive rights to Premier League football in MENA for the next four seasons.
All 380 games each season will be broadcast live exclusively on beIN, in addition to comprehensive magazine programming, pre- and post-match shows, as well as daily highlights and weekly wrap-up programmes. beIN will also live stream its matches, across web, tablet and mobile devices through beIN Connect for its OTT subscribers.
beIN holds some of the most coveted sports rights in the region. In addition to the Premier League, it also has the broadcast rights to LaLiga, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A as well as the major international club and country competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, all major CAF, AFC and CONCACAF competitions, together with the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships.
