The champions league will start from October 5 and will be available with Arabic and English commentary.
BeIN Sports will exclusively broadcast the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Set to take place from October 5, until May 22, 2022, the UEFA Women’s Champions League is part of beIN’s women’s sports portfolio and its wider beINSPIRED corporate commitment, in which beIN showcases under-represented sports of women and men, as well as developing business partnerships, events and creative campaigns. BeIN Sports has been showcasing female talent in Wimbledon, the Tokyo Olympics and the US Open, Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, W Series and the US Open, amongst other major sporting events.
This year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League will be the first edition to feature 16 competing clubs – with the final set to be held at the Juventus stadium in Turin, Italy.
Matchday one kicks off on October 5 with Sweden’s Hacken taking on France’s Lyon at 19:45 MECCA. The game will be broadcast on beIN Sports Premium 1 for Arabic commentary and beIN Sports 1 for English commentary. On October 6, Chelsea will face Wolfsburg at 19:45 MECCA on beIN Sports 3 Premium and beIN Sports 1 for English and Arabic commentary.
