As part of its mission to deliver educational and entertainment content to children in the region, beIN Media Group has revealed new programmes line-up on kids’ channels Baraem and JeemTV to deliver locally produced content.
Every episode aired by Baraem hopes to develop the abilities of young children and encourage them to learn in ways that promote their creative abilities.
The line-up includes Fafa which helps children learn various skills in their daily lives. Tila Toula is a programme where children compete in two teams (Tila and Toula), with a goal of teaching about positive competition.
Nam al Qamar tells children targeted bedtime stories that develop their imagination and takes them into a journey between times and places.
Ahla Sabah is a morning show that helps children adopt a healthy lifestyle. Horoof wa rosoom presents fantastical stories that make children think, as characters are presented to viewers through an exciting plot to instil the love for knowledge.
Meanwhile, JeemTV will present every Sunday the fourth season of Al Tahady, a programme showcasing children competing in every episode to obtain treasures – with the prize amounting to $823 (3,000 QAR). Mini-games city was built on Qetaifan Island in Lusail City in Qatar for this purpose.
JeemTV will also air Solo Jeem on Sundays which aims to discover and develop musical talents in an interactive way and promote Siwar Choir. The programme is presented by artist Bilal al Wasim.
On Monday, JeemTV will broadcast a comedy debate show called With Anbar where celebrities from across the region are interviewed. On Tuesdays, Younes Al Aaraj presents Al Sadarah, an interactive and fast-paced sports programme covering various games for children of all ages.
Presenter Marwa Khamis will present Kun Makani, a new look programme discussing several issues and stories in children’s daily lives.
JeemTV viewers can watch #Jeem_Jawab game show, presented live on TV and on YouTube at 5 pm UAE time on Thursdays. Using the Jeem cube, the programme is presented by puppet Anbar, Ashraf and Jihan. The programme also includes various new interactive segments.
