BroadcastPro ME celebrates five years of success

BroadcastPro Middle East celebrated its fifth anniversary at Andreea’s at Habtoor Grand May 20, 2015. The party brought together 120 industry specialists, including systems integrators, manufacturers and distributors, and end users under one roof to celebrate the success of the magazine.

Speaking about the magazine’s journey so far, Vijaya Cherian, Editorial Director of the Broadcast and Construction Division for CPI, thanked all the guests gathered at the event. She said that BroadcastPro ME wouldn’t have reached this milestone if it wasn’t for the unwavering support of the region’s broadcast industry right from the inception of the brand.

“Your support is invaluable to us,” she commented.

“It’s been a worthwhile journey and the industry’s support has been the constant driver for our success,” added Cherian as she thanked the sponsors.

The Lead Sponsor of the party, Selevision, also sponsored three Star prizes for the raffle draw. Other sponsors included Aveco, UBMS, Oasis PPD, ABS Network and First Gulf Company.

Raffle prizes, at what is now becoming an annual ritual, ranged from Sennheiser and Boss headphones to an LG 42” UHD monitor as well as Body Shop vouchers for the guests. The prizes were sponsored by Sennheiser, Selevision, Broadcast Systems Arabia for the LG TV and Telestream and EMEA Gateway for three Bose Noise Cancellation headphones.

Cherian also announced that Selevision will be the Title Sponsor of the 2015 edition of BroadcastPro ME Summit and Awards which will now be called ASBU presents BroadcastPro ME Selevision Summit and Awards. To be held in November, the event attracts the who’s who of the MENA broadcast industry and offers an excellent networking platform.
