The annual BroadcastPro ME party at the Calabar, The Address Downtown Dubai, saw more than 150 major broadcasters, manufacturers and integrators of the industry coming together, for the serious business of fun and football.
The evening of June 13, 2012 saw Euro 2012 fire up the fierce rivalry between Germany and Netherlands. It was also a fitting platform for the broadcast fraternity to meet and celebrate BroadcastPro MEs second anniversary. The annual BroadcastPro ME party at the Calabar, The Address Downtown Dubai, saw more than 150 major broadcasters, manufacturers and integrators of the industry coming together, for the serious business of fun and football.
Raffle prizes, at what is now becoming an annual and slightly rambunctious party ritual, ranged from Iomega hard drives, Canon cameras, customised camera bags from Kata, Blackberrys and Ipads. Amidst loud cheers and interspersed with premium giveaways from Lindt, the grand prize for the evening was an LG 42 LED TV (prize winners and pictures will be online shortly).
Your support is invaluable to us, said Vijaya Cherian, group editor of the Broadcast Division for CPI. She announced the continued support of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), for the annual BroadcastPro Summit and Awards to be held in November. Recounting the success of the inaugural WorkshopPro, Cherian invited the industry to nominate their best efforts for the annual BroadcastPro awards in November.
The BroadcastPro annual party was sponsored by Advanced Media, First Gulf Company, BBH, Avid, JVC and Oasis Enterprises.
