BroadStream Solutions has recruited new members to expand its engineering, sales & marketing and technical support teams, as well as strengthening its senior management team with a new SVP of Human Resources.
The new members of the BroadStream organisation include Paul Murzell as Director of Product Engineering and Susie Haldar who handles global PR and communications.
With over 20 years broadcast experience, Murzell has worked for the likes of Encoda, Omneon, Pro-bel and Harmonic; his most recent position was Engineering Project Manager at Turner Broadcasting where he was responsible for the research, recommendation and implementation of new technology. In his new post, in addition to managing BroadStreams entire Product Engineering team, Murzell will be at the forefront of capturing, addressing and implementing solutions to fulfill customers current and future playout and production graphics requirements.
Haldar brings both PR and marketing experience spanning 15 years of working with both SMEs and major players in the broadcast industry, including Miranda Technologies, TSL Products, Quartz Electronics and TSL Systems. Her role at BroadStream is to develop key messaging, increase industry awareness and to raise the global profile of BroadStreams solutions whilst building and maintaining relationships with international media, distributors, trade partners and customers.
Following its acquisition of OASYS in 2014, BroadStream has invested heavily in the recruitment of high calibre industry professionals for new senior management positions, including ex-Miranda Technologies executives Ben Wolk as President of Sales and Marketing, Micky Edwards as VP Sales EMEAA and Peter Wharton as VP Technology and Business Development.
Simone Brenninkmeijer also joins the company as the new SVP of Human Resources; responsible for executive development and as the HR adviser to the board.
The global team of industry experts report to Herbert Brenninkmeijer; the CEO, who carries 30 years of commercial experience across both retail and broadcast industry sectors.
