Cartoon Network Arabic celebrated its fourth anniversary this month and will be celebrating its birthday with its viewers. Children were invited to take part in an online competition to design a birthday card, with winners having their full names and designed cards showcased on the channel. The first batch of winners were announced on October 10th 2014, and the second stage will be announced later this October.
The free-to-air channel broadcasts its childrens entertainment shows in Arabic such as Ben 10, Adventure Time, the Amazing World of Gumball, Power puff Girls, and Dexters Laboratory.
Reflecting on four years of success, Tarek Mounir, Commercial Director, Middle East, North Africa Greece & Cyprus at Turner Broadcasting, said: We are very proud to be celebrating our fourth anniversary in the MENA region, we consider this to be a huge milestone for us, and we have managed to establish ourselves as one of the leading childrens entertainment channels in the Middle East. To mark this momentous occasion, we knew it was essential to engage our dedicated young viewers and celebrate our birthday with them. We look forward to continually providing high-quality entertainment and maintaining our strategy to broaden our partnerships from a commercial and content perspective.
