'Chernobyl' is available to watch in the region on pay-TV network OSN's streaming app.
The Sky Atlantic/HBO drama series Chernobyl which is about the 1986 nuclear meltdown has won seven British Academy Television Craft Awards (BAFTA).
The awards included Best Director for Johan Renck, Icelandic composer for Hildur Gudnadottir and costume designer for Odile Dicks-Mireaux.
Other wins included best photography and lighting, sound, production design and editing.
Other winners included HBO family drama Succession creator Jesse Armstrong who won the award for best drama writer. BBC series His Dark Materials, which is based on novels by Philip Pullman, picked up two awards. Meanwhile, the BAFTA Special Award went to Nicky Sargent and Vikki Dunn from The Farm Group.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s event was held online in a special ceremony via the BAFTA Facebook/YouTube channels. The awards were hosted by actor and comedian Stephen Mangan in a digital ceremony, with award-winners addressing the audience via pre-recorded acceptance speeches.
