The second edition of the Childrens International Film Festival (CIFF) will take place at VOX Cinemas across the UAE from 23rd April, 2015 to 2nd May, 2015. The 10-day long festival will feature 120 films in 50 languages from 60 countries.
The 2015 edition of CIFF will also feature 53 films made by school students in the UAE and 67 films submitted from overseas participants.
Commenting on this years edition of the festival, Deepak Jain, CIFFs Director, said: CIFF has gained immense popularity since it began its maiden journey last year. Its a platform that provides the opportunity to young people, pre-teens and teens, to express their creativity through the ever entertaining medium of films.
With Dubai Film and TV Commission (DFTC) as a strategic partner, the CIFF 2015, is powered by Nikon, and is presented in association with VOX Cinemas.

More than 15,000 people attended last years edition that featured over 60 films in 36 languages from 38 countries.
CIFF 2015 teamed up with Nikon Middle East to conduct several hands-on filmmaking workshops in schools across the UAE and trained a total of 2,316 students under the flagship of Nikons globally renowned photography institution, the Nikon School.
CIFFs 2015 edition opens on 23rd April, 2015 at Madinat Theatre, Dubai and will screen the best in family entertainment for public on 24th April, 2015 & 25th April, 2015 at VOX Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. Exclusive shows for schools in UAE will be organised from 26th April, 2015 to 30th April, 2015 in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah & Fujairah. The festival will conclude with a gala Red-carpet Awards Ceremony on 2nd May, 2015.
