'Oppenheimer' premiered at Le Grand Rex in Paris on July 11, 2023, and is scheduled to be theatrically released in Saudi Arabia on July 20, 2023.
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which releases tomorrow, has broken the record for the highest amount of advance tickets sold in Saudi Arabia this year. The advanced booking began last week. The record numbers have been confirmed by the Kingdom’s largest Exhibitors.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer is shot in IMAX. Oppenheimer’s storyline is inspired by J. Robert Oppenheimer.
The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer. Matt Damon portrays General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Oscar nominee Robert Downey, Jr. plays Lewis Strauss, a founding commissioner of the US Atomic Energy Commission. Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock, Benny Safdie plays theoretical physicist Edward Teller, Michael Angarano plays Robert Serber and Josh Hartnett plays pioneering American nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence.
The film is a co-production between Syncopy Inc. and Atlas Entertainment, with Nolan producing the film alongside Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.
‘Oppenheimer’ will be released in cinemas in KSA on July 20, 2023.
