Zawya's Panorama of the European Film is an annual event that showcases the best of European features, documentaries and short film to Egyptian audiences.
Egypt-based Zawya Cinema has announced the programme for 17th edition of Panorama of the European Film. Running from November 28 to December 7, over 40 award-winning features and documentaries from across Europe will be screened at the festival.
Zawya’s Panorama of the European Film is an annual event that showcases the best of European features, documentaries and short film to Egyptian audiences. Launched in 2004, the Panorama has attracted an increasing number of spectators due to the quality and uncensored nature of films, the rich exchanges and debates with international guests. The Panorama is funded by the European Union, in partnership with the European Union National Institutes for Culture in Egypt.
This year’s lineup is divided into four sections: Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. There’s also a special section titled, Leos Carax Special Short Programme.
