A new megaplex in Muscat will offer movie-goers access to four luxurious screens, which will include 180-degree leather reclining seats with personal amenities, Maitre d’ call buttons and adjustable tables.
Cinema operator Cinépolis Cinemas has opened its first luxury megaplex in Muscat, Oman. The newest theatre opened in the capital city’s Avenues Mall, part of Abu Dhabi-based Lulu Group, on November 21.
The megaplex features four luxury screens, a Junior screen, 4D E-motion screen, Macro XE screen and seven premium format screens. The screens include 180-degree leather reclining seats with personal amenities, Maitre d’ call buttons and adjustable tables.
The menu, which will be served at the seat via on-demand butler service.
The Muscat theatre will also feature a Junior screen with a colourful jungle gym, complete with slide and ball pit, as well as bean-bag seating.
Cinépolis Cinemas will offer the 4D E-motion experience which comes with motion seats and special effects such as wind, water, seat vibration, smell and air shots synchronised with the action on the screen. The cinema will also feature one Macro XE auditorium, complete with Dolby Atmos surround sound.
