CNBC Arabia has partnered with Youtoo Technologies ME to offer multiple interactive services for its audience. The broadcaster expects to launch a number of knowledge-based interactive services and game- shows in the months ahead to dynamically engage with its audience.
This partnership will launch its first interactive game show targeting millions of its viewers, taking interactivity between the broadcaster and the audience to a new high. The knowledge-based game show, a first in the region, enables audience to respond to questions based on select news headlines from the broadcaster on its website. This show empowers viewers to give their opinions and choose from various options on the selected news items, and win points. This is a new way of giving back to a loyal audience.
Youtoo Technologies is a global pioneer in end-to-end interactive TV solutions that allows viewers to directly participate in shows, aired on television channels, by sending texts, photos or videos, and are seamlessly integrated with social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Using Youtoo Technologies solutions, broadcasters are able to upload texts, photos and videos in real time, and allow high interactivity between shows and their viewers.
Nabeel Hood, Head of Sales and Marketing at CNBC Arabia, said: With the launch of this game, we have given our viewers a new tool to interact with us dynamically. As a broadcaster, the response from our viewers, while choosing the options in the games, gives us a direct reference to how our audience is responding or reacting to a developing story.
Amer Farid, Managing Director of Youtoo Technologies Middle East, said that with the introduction of the new service, CNBC Arabia is heralding a new approach to news and information broadcasting in the region.
Our TV game platform is the next generation of premium SMS TV games. Rather than just texting in answers, viewers can win real cash and prizes using a mobile app and website. This enables a whole new level of interaction and social games which we expect to excite viewers and revive the pay-to-play at home TV format globally, Farid added.
