The popular classics and erstwhile shows have found a renewed interest amongst the audience as they provide relief and induce nostalgia. We, at Colors, are constantly and very closely evaluating the viewership trends and designing our programming to give our audience the best content. In a similar move, we are elated to air Mahabharat on television to give our viewers another opportunity to relive the golden times.”
Govind Shahi, Executive Vice President, IndiaCast Media Distribution Pvt. Ltd, remarked: “I believe that Mahabharat is much more than just a regular television serial. It has taught all of us key learnings about life. I recall watching the show with my parents every week and it was immensely enjoyed in practically every home in India. Bringing it back on screen today which is 32 years after its original telecast, it is a good time for families to watch this show together – a refresher for some while a whole new experience to the others.”
