The finale of the talent hunt 'Colors Ka Sartaj' was organised by IndiaCast Media Distribution Pvt. Ltd. and broadcast on Colors TV Middle East.
The finale of the talent hunt Colors Ka Sartaj, organised by IndiaCast Media Distribution Pvt. Ltd. and broadcast on Colors TV Middle East, was held earlier this month at the Platinum ME Properties Camp in Al Quoz, Dubai.
An audience of more than 1000 blue collar workers watched the 15 finalists showcase their talents. The judging panel included Bollywood actor, Jaaved Jaaferi.
Mohammed Uvais Khazi won the title of Colors Ka Sartaj and was awarded a cash prize of $2,722 (AED 10,000). Pankaj Singh Gharti and Faeem Khan were adjudged second and third respectively.
Elaborating on hosting the unusual talent show, Sachin Gokhale, Business Head- Middle East & Africa and Head of Business Operations and Corporate Strategy for International Business at IndiaCast, said: We are overwhelmed with the sheer depth of talent which was on display at Colors Ka Sartaj. It has been real hard work to connect with various companies and coordinate the participation across labour camps. We are pleased that we managed to secure participation from 62 camps. We hope to create more and more such events allowing us to showcase, recognise and also at a future date promote this immense talent pool that calls UAE its home. The performances of the grand finale will be forever etched in the hearts of everyone who witnessed these talented individuals.
Commenting on the value of hosting such shows, Jaaved Jaaferi, celebrity judge of Colors Ka Sartaj, said: It was heartwarming to see the efforts and planning that Colors TV ME has put into Colors Ka Sartaj. I have always believed that talent has no boundary and it surfaces at every opportunity that it gets. The plethora of hidden talents that the event showcased took me by surprise. I am proud to be associated with this initiative as it not only rewarded the talents but also brings smiles on the faces of so many individuals of our community.
