Vivendi-owned video platform Dailymotion has decided to scale down bandwidth to stream from its platform in order to avoid the saturation of the networks in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, Dailymotion said: “Videos originally available in UHD (4K), Full HD (1080p) and HD (720p) will be streamed in Standard Definition (SD) for at least three weeks.
The bandwidth policy progressively started rolling out from March 20.
