In total, the exclusive coverage will be available across 18 MENA countries.
Sports streaming platform DAZN has secured the exclusive broadcast rights to the Masters 2024, one of golf’s most prestigious tournaments, for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Set to take place from April 11 to 14 at the Augusta National Golf Club, the Masters tournament will feature top players competing for the revered Green Jacket. As part of its PGA TOUR Pass, DAZN will provide comprehensive coverage of the event, offering golf enthusiasts in the MENA region access to all the action live or on-demand.
Utilising its state-of-the-art digital technology and platform, DAZN will deliver two comprehensive feeds covering the Masters – the Main World feed and the Featured Group feed. This coverage will keep fans abreast of the intense competition and unfolding drama over the course of the four-day tournament. Additionally, DAZN’s broadcast will include the beloved Masters Par 3 Contest, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the event.
Speaking about the deal, Shay Segev, Group CEO, DAZN, said: “DAZN is absolutely committed to building the ultimate destination for sports fans. Adding the Masters to the PGA TOUR Pass in MENA is just one example of where we are increasing premium content and the value of what we deliver to our customers. The Masters is one of the most iconic competitions in world sport, so to be able to use DAZN’s technology and reach to deliver all the action across four days of thrilling golf right across this region to super-serve golf fans and reach new ones, is a fantastic opportunity for DAZN and the competition.
“DAZN will continue to look for partnerships where we can build compelling offerings for both rights holders and consumers, using our market position and platform capabilities to create a sports entertainment proposition – all in one place – that caters for the differing ways fans want to access the sports they love.”
The PGA TOUR Pass, available exclusively on DAZN as a standalone subscription across MENA and Southeast Asia, offers dedicated coverage of PGA TOUR events, including the Masters 2024. This initiative allows DAZN subscribers to enjoy live and exclusive feeds outside of traditional broadcast windows, enhancing the viewing experience for golf enthusiasts in the region.
With the addition of the PGA TOUR FAST Channel within its extensive freemium offering, DAZN continues to establish itself as a premier destination for sports content. This move follows the successful rollout of NFL Game Pass and the launch of FIBA’s Courtside 1891 basketball channel on the DAZN platform, further solidifying its commitment to delivering top-tier sports entertainment to fans worldwide.
