The Doha Film Institute(DFI) has announced that it will be hosting a worldwide TEDX event meant exclusively for TEDx organisers called the TEDx worldwide workshop (TEDxWWW).
TEDxWWW will be a private event, open only to members of the global TEDx community, together with the TED team.
Attendees will have the chance to network, generate ideas and discuss local and regional strategies.
The event is scheduled to begin on April 16, 2012 and will go on for three days.
TEDXWWW will be followed by TEDxDoha on April 20.
TEDxDoha will feature speakers who are from the Middle East as well as other international speakers. The event will be curated by TED, DFI and the global TEDx community.
According to the DFI website:Registration for TEDxWWW will begin in October 2011 on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodation, food and social events in Doha will be covered. Airfare will be at each individuals expense. A limited number of scholarships to cover the cost of airfare will be available.
