A third line-up of films has been confirmed for the Cinema of the World section for the 10th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
Nashen Moodley, DIFFs Co-Director of the Cinema of the World programme, said: The line-up of outstanding and diverse films from both prolific and upcoming talent is a true celebration of this years best films. Festival goers will have the opportunity to see films ahead of their cinematic release and the programme has been designed to connect audiences to the widest choice of cinema from around the world.
The films include acclaimed films from around the world. The film selected films are as follows:
Ben Stiller directed The Secret Life of Walter Mitty; Inside Llewyn Davis, winner of the Cannes Film Festival Jurys Grand Prix earlier this year; How I Live Now based on the novel of same name by Meg Rosof; Greek filmmaker Alexander Avranas award-winning Miss Violence; Louise Archambaults Gabrielle is Canadas official submission for the Academy Awards in the Foreign Language Film category; A potential frontrunner for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards next year Tims Vermeer from illusionists Penn & Teller; Paradise, a Mexico City-set love story; Words and Pictures by Fred Schepisi.
